Nicole Alger's work is inspired by 17th c. masters like Ribera and more recent
artists like the 19th c. Art Nouveau painter Gustav Klimt.  The mythological and
symbolic content of the work blends traditional realism with modern abstraction.

Laila Carlsen
Laila Carlsen's paintings have an ethereal quality about them.  She paints from a
world between worlds, inspired by nature and dreams.  Using painting techniques
based on those of the Old Masters, she captures organic matter fused with a
timeless spirit of beauty and mystery. She was born in Norway, and at the
moment shows her work mainly in the United States.

Raffaele De Gregorio

Raffaele was born on the Italian island of Capri into a family of painters and
craftsmen.  Classically trained, he is a figurative painter whose style is
contemporary realism.

Drago Dosen
Drago Dosen is a Yugoslav artist living in New Zealand whose images, which are
both contemporary and rooted in the past, conjure up extraordinary
atmosphere and romance.

Rob Evans
Rob Evans is an American realist painter whose luminous interiors, landscapes,
and narrative works have been exhibited in museums and galleries
internationally and can be found in many public collections, including the
Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC and the National Gallery of Art in
Washington, D.C.

Manfred Hönig

Maya Kulenovic
Maya Kulenovic is a contemporary Canadian painter who exhibits her work
internationally.  Her imagery is a product of her classical upbringing, a tendency
to look into the dark side of human nature, and a taste for the nostalgic,
foreboding, and hesitant, and sometimes the offensive.

Steven Lawler
Steven Lawler is a British artist whose paintings are fragments of unknown
narratives -- stories steeped in atmosphere with characters that invite the
viewer to speculate and identify.  Created out of a love of all that evokes
nostalgia, his work is crafted from an acute admiration of the old masters
(Caravaggio and Rembrandt in particular) and a keen interest in cinema,
philosophy, and literature.

Dana Levin
Dana Levin is a classical realist painter of still lifes, florals, portraits, and interiors.  
She uses purely visual information to paint by, to create images that are poetic
rather than illustrative.  Her training is in the lineage of the Boston School
Painters and her collection of reference books are mainly from the 19th and 17th
centuries.

Jan Valentin Saether is an acclaimed Norwegian figurative painter and sculptor
who has exhibited widely around the world and is represented in several public
collections and museums in Norway and California.

primarily, the beauty of his country through the depiction of its people.

Erling Steen
Erling Steen is a Danish realist painter.  A majority of his paintings are highly
